The Home Condition Survey (HCS) Process
We can be reached by phone or email and you may be able to speak to the surveyor who will visit the property straight away. We will be able to take sufficient details over the phone to be able to offer a quotation. If you were to instruct us to proceed we would take further details of the property and the estate agent's or owner's details for access. We would discuss any particular points of concern you may have about the property and explain the extent of the survey. We would then send to you, usually by email, more in depth information about the survey and our standard terms and conditions. We would ask for payment and would then contact the vendor to make access arrangements.
Access permitting, we can usually carry out the survey within a couple of days and the report can be sent to you either electronically or through the post.

It should be noted that the survey does not contain a valuation of the property or costing for repairs.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
EPCs are a legal requirement for almost all properties when marketed for sale or rent and when newly built. We can prepare EPCs for residential and commercial properties.
